  • Ride Credits: 50 cents each (rides require 6-8 credits)

Chairlift Ride

Ride high above the sky for a bird’s eye view of the Oregon State Fairgrounds on one of our 165 chairs on the Oregon State Fair chairlift.

The ride travels north and south from one end of the Fairgrounds to the other. Over 43,500 riders each year ride over the Oregon State Fairgrounds enjoying the sites and sounds of Fair. Round trip and one way tickets are available.

Prices as follows:

  • Child $1 one way
  • Adult $4.50 one way
  • Round Trip $5

The Big Sling

Hot Shot Thrill Rides presents the Big Sling at the Oregon State Fair. The ride is located at the center of the fairgrounds near the entrance to Carnival area. Whether you want to watch or ride, the Big Sling is a highly anticipated attraction.

For an ultimate good time, you will want to ride this extreme thrill ride which will lift, propel, and sling you high into the skies!

This is a ticketed event. Prices are listed below:

  • Single Rider: $30
  • Two Riders: $50
Mechanical Bull Riding

Mechanical Bull Riding

Can you ride for 8 seconds? New this year to the 2008 Oregon State Fair is mechanical bull riding! Located near the central concorse Beer Gardens and the Texas Hold’em tournament area….the bull is open for riding by adults and children of all ages (at the operator’s discretion).

Bull riding closes to children and those under 21 at 7pm nightly.
