PLEASE NOTE: Available free parking capacity on the fairgrounds is limited to 9000 spaces. Over Labor Day weekend, parking fills up early in the day. Fair visitors are encouraged to park in downtown Salem and ride the FREE fair shuttle.
Save time, gas and the environment by taking the FREE State Fair Shuttle to and from the State Fairgrounds. The route and the schedule should suit anyone wanting to get to the Oregon State Fair without all the hassle of traffic.
The FREE Fair Shuttle departs each stop every 15 minutes every day during the State Fair, from August 24 through September 3. You can catch the FREE Shuttle at Courthouse Square in Downtown Salem, at the State Red Lot at the corner of Capitol and Marion Sts., and at the Red Gate at the State Fairgrounds on 17th St. For fair employees, shuttle buses begin running at 9:15 a.m., arriving at the fair at 9:28. For out of town employees, exhibitors and visitors, the FREE shuttle offers easy access to shopping and dining in the downtown area. Please check the schedule for bus stop times.
