The STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series presented by Carhartt, the original extreme sport, will be celebrating its 25th anniversary at the 2010 Oregon State Fair.

ESPN cameras have followed the STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series for 25 years, earning the STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series the distinction of being the one of the longest running programs on the network. Only SportsCenter has been on the air longer.

The STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series quarterfinals, semifinals and U.S. Championships will span the three-day event challenging lumberjacks in six chopping and sawing disciplines: hot saw, single buck, springboard chop, standing block chop, stock saw and underhand chop to determine which competitors advance to the 2010 STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series World Championships presented by Carhartt in Austria Friday, Sept. 3 - Sunday, Sept. 5. Over the course of the three-day event in Oregon, the Professional Series will also feature two specialty disciplines, the boom run and speed climb.
