Learn to create a great sand castle using a simple bucket, tube, water, and a plastic knife. "Tube & Bucket" lessons will be provided on-site daily from August 30 - September 6, 2010 at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Registration will be on-site and is free with fair admission. All equipment for the lessons will be provided. Bert Adams, Sand Sculpture extraordinaire will be providing lessons, demonstrations and friendly competitions for all kids! (Each child must be accompanied by an adult).

Beginning Friday, September 3 - Monday, September 6, 2010 the Oregon State Fair welcomes the Oregon State Championship Soloist contest sponsored by the Keizer Renaissance Inn & Conference Center. Five Semi-Pro sculpturists will build, create, and demonstrate their huge sand sculptures. Don't forget to vote for the "People's Choice" by placing $1.00 into the bucket of your favorite sculpturist!
