  • 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM - "Oregon's Role in Workd War II" - Alisha Hamel, Heritage Outreach Foundation. Connect with history as you touch and try on artifacts from Oregon's past and discover Oregon's Role in World War II.
  • 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM - "Tales from the Graveyard" - Kuri Gill, Historic Cemeteries and CLG Programs Coordinator, OPRD. Stop by for some intriguing cemetery tales, from the headstrong female carver in Jacksonville to the surprise cemetery discovery in springfield.
  • 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM - "Tsunamis Across Time" - Angela Stewart, Interpretive Park Ranger, Harris Beach State Park, OPRD. A look into the past will help us prepare for the future. When the "BIG one" hits the Oregon Coast, will you survive?
  • 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM - "A Salmon's Tribulations in the Tributaries" - Erin Cathcart, New Media Intern, OPRD. From cloudy streams to crowded ocean passageways, follow the struggle of out native salmon and find out how you can preserve their future.

  • 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM - "Hollywood Frogs with Superhero Skills" - Emily Hardy, Interpretive Intern, OPRD. Explore the amazing adaptations of the Pacific Treefrog and get the scoop on a Hollywood star with superhero skills.
  • 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM - "Make Grandma's Quilt Last Generations" - Kuri Gill, Historic Cemetaries and CLG Programs Coordinator. Come learn the basics of preserving your historic treasures from your G.I Joe collection (not so old) to Grandpa's baby pictures.
  • 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM - "Wonderful Wetlands" - Jennifer Godfrey, Interpretive Park Naturalist, Detroit Lake State Park, OPRD. Join us as we wander through the features of wetland habitats, discover the wildlife living there and cram "passengers" into cattail boats.
  • 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM - "Clone Wars and Other Tide Pool Conflicts" - Emily Hardy, Interpretive Intern, OPRD. Dive into the tide pools ot the Oregon Caost and train your eyes to read the tales of territorial disputes found there.
  • 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM - "Wonderful Wetlands" - Jennifer Godfrey, Interpretive Park Naturalist, Detroit Lake State Park, OPRD. Join us as we wander through the features of wetland habitats, discover the wildlife living there and cram "passengers" into cattail boats.

  • 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM - "Hollywood Frogs with Superhero Skills" - Emily Hardy, Interpretive Intern, OPRD. Explore the amazing adaptations of the Pacific Treefrog and get the scoop on a Hollywood star with superhero skills.
