2011 Family Business Photo Contest
The Austin Family Business Program announces the "Call for Entries" for the 2011 Family Business Photo Contest.
Entry Deadline is August 15, 2011. To enter complete the registration form, request complete contest rules and email photos to sherri.noxel@bus.oregonstate.edu .
People's choice voting will be open Friday, August 26th at the Oregon State Fair in Salem between 10 am and 2 pm. Judging of photos will follw. Confirmed 2011 judges include OSU President Ed Ray, Portland Business Journal Photographer Cathy Cheney, Oregon State Fair Foundation Director Kate Tarter and State Director of NFIB Oregon Jan Meekcoms.
Photography Competition
The Oregon State Fair offers three photography competitions:
The International Exhibition (open to worldwide competition) is sanctioned by PSA (Photographic Society of America) and follows PSA rules. A percentage is accepted for display.
The Oregon Salon of Photography is open only to residents of the state. Photos are juried and a percentage are accepted for display.
The Student/Youth Photography Exhibit is open to those 18 and younger. All photographs entered are displayed and awards are chosen by judges.
The entry deadline for all photography exhibits is Wednesday, August 3, 2011.
