The Oregon State Fair Homebrew Beer Competition is back!

Thank you to all who have entered the 2011 Oregon State Fair Homebrew Beer Competition. The response was great and now we are looking forward to upcoming homebrew events.  See below for the latest schedule.
 
Saturday, August 6, 2011 (pre-Fair)
  • 9 am – First round of judging to take place in the Hart of the Garden Building (aka Floral Building)

Saturday, August 27, 2011 (first Saturday of Fair)

  • 1 pm – 2 00 pm – Homebrew Beer Demonstration to be performed on the Spirit of Oregon Stage. The demonstration will be a part of the Blues, Brews & Barbecue festivities located within The Grove at the North end of the Fairgrounds.
  • 4 pm – 5 pm – Live “Best of Show” judging on the Americraft Center Stage (Jackman-Long Building)
  • 5 pm – 5:30 pm – Homebrew Beer Awards Presentation

2011 Homebrew Awards

Thank you to all our 2011 homebrew participants.  The Oregon State Fair received over 220 entries!  Our Homebrew Competition culminated with the Best of Show performed live on stage in the Americraft Cookware Center.
