Join the fun and effort in supporting the Oregon State Fair's Neighborhood Associations SOLV clean up!
 
Volunteers and supporters will meet in the front parking lot of the Jackman-Long/Americraft Building located at 2330 17th St NE, Salem, OR  97301 at 8:00 am, Saturday August 4, 2012.
 
Volunteers needed!  If you would like to participate, please download and complete the volunteer waiver form (below) and fax back to Dani Ficken at 503-947-3206.

Temporary Employment

There is a wide variety of temporary positions available to support the 2012 Oregon State Fair, August 23 through September 3, 2012. Temporary jobs range from ticket taking to parking lot attendants, customer service workers to cashiers, hospitality workers, litter/recycling team, and event set-up and support...all are needed for a few weeks in preparation and during the annual event.

Volunteer Opportunities

Where do you find the most talented, professional, courteous and friendly volunteers - at the Oregon State Fair!  Come join the fun!  There are many areas in which we can use your expertise to help make this annual event something to remember.  From staffing Fair departments (Farm and Garden, Floral, Creative Living, Art, Photography, etc.) to customer service and hospitality, or try working with some of the great competitions.

Volunteers receive a T-Shirt and one (1) free admission ticket for every four (4) hours of volunteer service they provide, up to a maximum of eight (8) tickets per volunteer.  So come be a part of the fun this year - you'll be sure to make new friends, create fun memories, while at the same time welcoming our guests to an experience they won't forget.  To ensure safety for all Volunteers and Fair Patrons, all volunteers must submit to a criminal background check.  Please fill out, print and send by mail or email as instructed on the instruction sheet, per the link below:

Volunteer at the Artisan's Village

Art organizations and individual artisans will return to the Oregon State Fair, August 24 through September 3, in the courtyard location near the floral gardens.  Volunteers are needed to assist artists at their booth locations.  For more details, see:
