Nalley Stuff the Bus

While students are still deep in summertime activities in August, parents and teachers are beginning to think about Back to School. Teachers in particular start to worry about whether or not they have enough supplies; where those supplies will come from; and how much of their own money will be spent on paper, pens, glue sticks, crayons, and tape.

To that end, KINK and the Oregon State Fair are enlisting the help of listeners and attendees to Stuff the Bus with needed items to be distributed throughout the metro area. Items will be distributed by Schoolhouse Supplies, a non-profit organization whose mission is to serve classrooms in need by operating a volunteer-run Free Store for teachers, which is stocked with supplies donated by the community.

The Nalley "Stuff the Bus" School Bus will be at the Main Gate of the State Fair on opening day, August 28th, from 10 am to 2 pm. Visitors who donate one item to the Bus will recieve a coupon good for a $1.00 discount at a Fair admission gate. Limit one coupon per person.

The first 50 people to visit us at our booth will receive 1 free Fair admission ticket. The pre-game festivities will start around 5 pm and the game is scheduled to begin at 6:35 pm.
