Visitors to our website are not required to disclose any personal information. However, to join our email bulletin, enter a contest, or purchase goods, you may need to provide your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, credit card information or other information required to fulfill the desired service or good. Unless otherwise specified, anyone who enters one of our contests is sent our email bulletin. We may also receive personal information from third parties, such as a ticketing company or ISP. Please note that if you order tickets online, you are subject to the privacy statement of our online ticketing agency.
We may ask you periodically to express a preference toward a genre of music or particular entertainer; or, we conduct surveys or contests to collect demographic or psychographic information. Providing this information is strictly voluntary and helps us develop programming that suits you, our patron. Our website may use IP addresses to determine what pages were viewed, how long the pages were viewed, and other statistics. All data we collect is protected against unauthorized access. We use your personal information to craft special offers for our email bulletin and provide a more enjoyable experience at our events or on our web site. We may also use the information we collect to occasionally send you Oregon State Fair announcements or special offers that we think you'll find valuable. The Oregon State Fair may provide aggregate statistics about our customers to reputable third-party vendors or marketers, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information. The Oregon State Fair may release personal information in certain narrow circumstances when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with law, (ii) enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or (iii) protect the rights, property or safety of the Oregon State Fair, our users, or others.
Our web site links to other sites that have no official affiliation with the Oregon State Fair. We make no representations or warranties with regard to any site that links to or from our site. We suggest that you read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of all sites that you visit.
At this time, the Oregon State Fair does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We may choose to do so in the future, but you can tell us not to do so by sending a blank e-mail message to Connie.Bradley@state.or.us with "NEVER OSF - Privacy " in the subject line and a brief statement in the email requesting no personal information sharing.
It is important to remember that persons under the age of 13 are not eligible to subscribe to our email bulletin or provide any personal information. We decline to accept information and will delete any information inadvertently collected from anyone under the age of 13.
Anyone may request a copy of the information collected for him or her by sending an email to Connie.Bradley@state.or.us with "DATA COLLECTED OSF - Privacy" in the subject line and a brief note requesting personal information shared. A reply will be sent to the email address corresponding to the information that has been requested.
